Our foremost concern is the health and safety of our staff, and our commitment to best practice health and safety measures and compliance is unrelenting. By sharing the responsibility for health and safety between management and employees we ensure that our protocols and procedures are practical and aligned with best practice, with regular toolbox meetings helping to achieve this.
We are proud to hold secondary accreditation in the ACC Workplace Safety Management Programme, and are committed to achieving Fleetsaver Accreditation also. All staff members are provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and it remains our first, and most enduring, priority to ensure each and every member of our team returns home to their families in the same condition which they arrived to work at the start of the day.
Operator Rating System (ORS) – this is a new system introduced by the NZTA that assesses heavy traffic operators and their adherence to regulations relating to road transport. The system measures three core activities – first pass at COF time, roadside inspection success rates and any infringements received by drivers. Taking a proactive approach to the new ORS, we have initiated new pre-start checks, speed-limiting of vehicles and briefings with staff.
We are proud to be a 5-Star operator on the NZTA’s Operator Rating System.
